In addition to the noted events below, the chapter hosts HBCU cultural and educational workshops, chapter retreats, chapter anniversary socials, and provides donations to local children in the form of school supplies, uniforms, and shoes. The chapter has also been the recipient of many awards.

Youth Leadership Institute
We are looking today to make tomorrows Leaders.
These workshops and training will develop and enhance leadership skills, social skills and reinforcement of self-worth for each participant.

Princess Dress Project
Making Dreams Come True
Searching to adopt local high school females to fulfill her prom night wishes by providing grants through the Princess Dress Project.
Scholarship Program
The goals of Phi Sigma Omega Chapter's scholarship program are to support historically black colleges and universities (HBCU) and to contribute to the educational goals, and objectives of female students who desire to succeed at their fullest ability.
Alzheimer's Disease & Awareness
Line Dancing
The event supported Alzheimer's Longest Day. The Longest Day (June 21st) is the day with the most light — the summer solstice. All funds raised will be donated to Alzheimer's Services of the Capital Area.

Our members are making a significant impact in our environment by planting trees, creating home garden and serving as volunteers in the community on Earth Day. Members are encouraged to reduce negative environmental impact and promote sustainable agricultures.
